Soil types:

Per soil test taken back in Nov. 2014: PH was tested at 5.5 with Buffer PH @ 6.75. Since then a no. of cover crops have been planted ( see below) to increase IM and nitrogen levels. updated soil test being carried out this month.

3 acres on a sloping west hillside with 3 story side hill barn. (approx 1500 s per floor) Looking for a lease partnership with established farmer in the area. Field has not been cropped in years and soil is good. Recent cover crops in the past 2 years: rye, sudex and red clover. Barn has new 200 amp service. No water on site. Possibilty of well dig to accessible watertable at base of field slope if water required per crop requirements.

Old farm property...My family lives in the original farmhouse across the street from the field. The field has had no use over past decade or so. Previously used for pumpkins and corn. Past 2 years have run cover crops of rye, sudex and red clover to increase nitrogen level in soil and prepare for eventual crop usage.
