A well drained open field of 3 acres on a western sloping hillside with a 3 story side hill barn situated along side the road at the top of the slope. (approx 1500 sf per floor w/ the ground floor and access to the upper third floor availble for a total of 3,000 sf.) The barn has new 200 amp service, is structurally sound and water tight. No water on site currently but the possibilty of a well dug to accessible watertable at base of field slope if water required per crop requirements and / or a stationary re-fillable water tank could be located at the top of the hill by the barn and fed through a gravity irrigation system down slope into the planted field.
Farm history / past uses of the property:
This is a1880s farm property. My family lives in the original farmhouse across the street from the field and barn. The field has not been not farmed over the past decade or so. Last year organic garlic was grown and harvested successfully in half of the field. The garlic farmer is moving on and the field and barn are now available for lease.
