Property is in excellent shape. We compost manure and hay from the horses, sheep and goats to fertilize the gardens and to sell. In peak years we have three gardens, sell produce in our CSA, vegetable stand and to restaurants. All our heritage animals free range. Our Bourbon Red Turkey received a rave review in the NY Times. We raise Boer goats for meat. Ossabaw pigs for meet. Bourbon Red turkeys, Meat and egg laying chickens of various breds. We have a "feather man" to remove poultry feathers.
