Property Description

Soil types:

Most of it is sandy loam on flat ground.

Description of the property’s current condition and current use(s):

My wife and I recently purchased this farm, which was in production as a poulty farm and pastureland for many years. We are not currently able to put enough of it in production, beyond our chickens and my 1/4 acre garden. We would love to work with some aspiring farmers to allow this place to live up to its potential.

Farm history / past uses of the property:

Was zoned as a poultry farm. I also know that there have been horses, hogs, and goats on the property. I have been told that it has been chemically free for at least twenty years.

There is 5 acres of horse paddock with relatively new vinyl fencing.

Water access description:

There is a well that provides consistent quality water. In fact, it was even used to provide water in a drought to the nursery across the road.

The barn was recently remodeled with 4 state of the art horse stalls. Currently, it's just being used for storage.
