Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

Establishing a brandy distillery, which will use traditional French methods, in Columbia County. I am seeking orchard and vineyard land for the production of apple and grape brandy.  The land can have vineyards/orchards or can be suitable for growing.  Ideally 40 to 50 acres of each. An array of arrangements are possible, from outright purchase to lease-to-own to purchase with a multi-year orchard/vineyard management contract.

Description of marketing method:

Fruit will be crushed, fermented into wine/cider and then distilled and aged.  Direct spirits sales at the distillery and farmers markets, sales through distributors outside local region.
