Hailey’s Acres established a Suburban Farm summer of 2016. Desi Colon chef and culinary Professor at Westchester Community College saw the need to provide highly nutritious and delicious vegetables. I convert small suburban yards into highly productive farm plots.

Chef Colon is actively perfecting his culinary craft and  for more than three decades in hotels, restaurants, and country clubs as well as instructing hospitality students at Johnson and Wales University, Long Island Culinary Academy, New York Institute of Technology and Westchester Community College. As a result, he has become aware of the need to provide organic sustainable highly nutritious produce. Hailey’s Acres created for the purpose of an ambitious Market Garden no-till system. The farm is an extension of his passion for healthy nutritious food.

Hailey’s Acres provide and supply locally grown organic food, which offers his family the opportunity to give back to the community. “Feeding the world one person at a time”
