Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

My partner and I are currently farming in our 3rd full season. We currently lease and manage 1.5 acres on a no-till organic vegetable production farm. We service a 60 member CSA and attend 2 farmer's markets in Hudson Valley. We are seeking to own/lease (dependent on terms) 3-5 tilable acres - spending a year preparing the land (if needed) and making compost and move into production the following season. We plan to continue using no-till/organic methods. Our short term goal is to establish a CSA and market farm and to one day establish ourselves as a non-profit entity. 

Description of marketing method:

Assessing community needs and potential CSA pick-up locations (schools/churches/major area employers)

Connecting with area farmer's markets and restaurants for wholesale opportunities
