Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

Currently working full time at Tributary Vegtable Farm, I am ultimartely interested in operating a multi-species regernative livestock farm utilizing intentive management rotational grazing. I am a big believer in the power of regnerative agriculture to heal our communities, our land and human health. 

Description of marketing method:

We plan on creating a "Nourishment" CSA, in which we distrubite shares of; raw milk, eggs and meat products. We will establish a website and customer base through our current connections to the health-oriented communities in Waldorf schools and others. We believe an operation like ours would be a great opprotunity for agritourism to expand our income and customer base, but it is not essential that the land is open to the public.

I am just beginning to build our livestock, at Tributary with pasture-raised laying hens. However, with the right property I am prepared to invest in a cow/calve operation and then, begin to integrate pigs and sheep into the grazing rotation.

I am interested in a lease that would provide us with ample time to build our herds, ideally at least a 5-year lease. Otherwise, I would also discuss buying land in the right circumstances.
